Everything sold at Lostwithiel Bakery is baked on the premises by Christine & Barry and their team. No less than ten types of bread are produced. As well as traditional Cornish Pasties the bakery also makes Lardy cake to an ancient Cornish recipe. Customers with a sweet tooth do not miss out, “Tiger Feet” cakes, which are similar to Danish Pastries, are a firm favourite.

Fran’s Pantry

Fran's Pantry are committed to supplying good, wholesome, fresh and interesting products with a distinctive Cornish flavour. Cheeses include many local favourites for example, Yarg, Davidstow Cheddar, Cornish Organic Brie, a stunning local Goat’s Brie and Cornish Blue.

They also bake a range of products on the premises; producing pasties made with local vegetables and diced Cornish steak. Their pies are also beginning to gain national recognition. Starting from the old favourite individual egg and bacon pie, Fran’s Pantry have developed the theme through the sausage, egg and bacon pie to The Full Monty consisting of sausage, egg, bacon, tomato, mushrooms and herbs hand blended to a secret recipe.

Sausage rolls, steak pies and range of four different flavours of individual flans plus a range of confectionery items are also available.
