Paul and Claire Murray welcome you to Trewithen Restaurant.
You can enjoy classical fine dining with a modern twist. Imaginative
menus have been thoughtfully created to offer a wide range of dishes
all freshly prepared with the greatest attention to detail.
Trewithen is steeped in 400 years of history and is the perfect place
for intimate dining or for private gatherings.
We are open from Tuesday to Saturday. Brunch is served from 11am with a glass of Buck's Fizz, or just with one of our excellent coffees. Lunch can be enjoyed in our secluded courtyard garden from noon till 2pm. In the evening we are open from 6.30pm onwards, with last orders at 9:00pm.

Muffins Tea Room
Located
in lower Fore Street, Muffins is a popular with
both locals and visitors alike.
This light and spacious tearoom serves breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea. All the cakes are home-made and every meal includes fabulous local produce sourced from as close to Lostwithiel as possible.
Recently Muffins has been named 2009 South West England Tea Room of the year by Taste of the West.
If you like what you’ve eaten at Muffins then check out the deli area,
where you can purchase many of the delicious goodies you have tasted in
the restaurant.

Terra Nova Bistro & Bar
Newly
opened Terra Nova brings a slice of urban cafe bar/brasserie to the
town. The double fronted building has a simple but elegant decor with
large windows. Open every morning for very good freshly
ground
coffee, tea and pastries as well as brasserie style breakfasts and
brunch. Lunch sees great value options including locally caught fish
goujons in beer batter served with hand cut triple cooked
chips.
In the evening the menu changes to showcase starters such as Stornoway
Black Pudding with Asparagus, Mains see home made
international
classics from curries to stirfrys and one-pots. Vegetarians are equally
served with seasonal veg filled quiches with blush tomato, pesto
dressing and mixed leaves on the menu. Classic deserts and a good
drinks choice complete the picture.
