Lostwithiel Food Festival 2009
The lovely historic town of Lostwithiel is now not only known
for its wealth of fabulous antique and lifestyles shops, but also for a
fantastic range of food establishments, ranging from traditional pubs,
to fine dining restaurants, bistros, award winning tea rooms, and
exciting independent retailers and producers.
The town 'foodies' in conjunction with Lostwithiel Business Group are
pleased to announce the first ever Lostwithiel Food Festival to be held
between October 26th to October 31st 2009.
Location
The majority of the events during the Food Festival
are taking place in, or close to,
Fore
Street Lostwithiel, the town's main shopping street. Fore
Street is just off
the
A390 road about midway between St Austell and Liskeard.
Lostwithiel is approximately 5 miles east of the world famous Eden
Project and 6 miles north of
Fowey.
Free parking is available in the Lostwithiel Community
Centre Car Park and also alongside the Quay. See

Public Transport
Lostwithiel Station, on the Plymouth / Penzance line, is about 400 yards from Fore Street on the other side of the Fowey River. National Express Coaches stop outside the Talbot Public House in Lostwithiel . The T24 bus service, operated by the Truronian Bus Company, serves Lostwithiel during the week. See Timetable
